1. Oliveto Newsletter/Schedule of Events
As we have been doing for several years now, we'll continue to send emails of the paper versions of our special events and projects followed by the menus when they become available.
2. Oliveto: This Just In
It starts with what comes in the door - first of the season morels, an extraordinary whole albacore, sometimes it's just a particularly delicious crop of string beans at the very beginning of the season. It's always what gets the kitchen and staff excited and what drives the Oliveto menu. These little gems arrive without warning, are on the menu for a brief time, and then they are gone.
It is these wonderful deliveries that inspire our large menu and maintain its vitality. While we present our ambitious special dinners several times a year, it's often what just arrives at our back door that can be the most fulfilling and sustaining of treats.
We will now be offering email notices of particularly delicious arrivals that will make a brief menu appearance: Oliveto's This Just In. We will try not to make it so frequent as to be a bother, but when something truly extraordinary hits the kitchen, we'd like to let you know about it.
3. Oliveto Wine Events
Occasionally, we'll have visits from winemakers and wine professionals that we think are particularly interesting--they'll be with us for a dinner or an afternoon talk. And now, with our new program for older wines, Wine In Time, we'd like to let you know about interesting wine acquisitions we'll be making available on our list. This email list will be for those interested in such notices.
