Produttori del Barbaresco, a timeline in progress

Aldo Vacca, the Director of Produttori del Barbaresco in the Piemonte region of Italy has been very important to Oliveto and the development of our ideas about wine. Yet again, he steps up to the plate, and agrees to help us with this ambitious idea:

We think these timelines (more to come) may be an interesting way to think about wines the way winemakers think about them. We’ll continue to post videos as Aldo sends them, so check back at the Oliveto Wine Journal for updates.

Over the years, Aldo has given me access to his life and friends and allowed me to get closer to his community, which I’ve taken as fundamental lessons in enjoying traditional wines. As background, here is a thirteen-minute introduction to Aldo’s Barbaresco community:

Oliveto Community

Produttori del Barbaresco, a timeline in progress

Aldo Vacca, the Director of Produttori del Barbaresco in the Piemonte region of Italy has been very important to Oliveto and the development of our ideas about wine. Yet again, he steps up to the plate, and agrees to help us with this ambitious idea:
